J. Ronald M. York

Ron York is a self-taught artist and the former owner of Local Color Gallery. He works primarily in acrylic on canvas or board. His subjects include musical themes, party people, pets, landscapes, angels and florals, all in a distinctive, colorful and whimsical style.

His work has been shown in galleries throughout the Southeast and in numerous local shows.

Mr. York’s paintings can be found in the corporate collections of Tom Collins Music, The Nashville City Club, First Baptist Church, Belmont University and Pinnacle Bank, and numerous private collections throughout the United States.
